Samenvatting
The use of toll charges - a method in which the user pays for the bridge, tunnel, ferry or turnpike as he uses it - continues to have an appeal in specific cases. The now world wide use of this method of financing is the subject of this paper. This paper is intended to present an overview of the procedure under which tolls are used to finance projects throughout the world.
