Samenvatting

The goal of this research is to find out whether it is possible to create an attractive urban agglomeration where interactions (at least partly) are made with electronic traffic instead of motorized traffic. Although telematics have opportunities, the motorized traffic is still increasing, while telematics are barely getting off the ground. To encourage the use of telematics, some suggestions are made to lower the resistance to using telematics instead of the car. Secondly in this paper a start is made on analysing which trips can be substituted by telematics and which can not. This gives directives for designing an urban agglomeration. This design on different scales shows that a greater use of greater use of telematics can lead to a design for a better urban agglomeration. (A)
