Samenvatting
A description is given of transport activities the last 25 years. Reference is made to the development in society in general and industry in particular during 2 transport revolutions, that took place within a period of 150 years. As it appeared the effects of the first revolution on transport development were limited as compared to the industry. An extrapolation is made for the transport future towards logistics both from technological and a structural point of view.
