Samenvatting
Methods of noise analysis are considered and measurements of individual sources with those of legally required vehicle tests are given. This is illustrated by a typical commercial vehicle '' noise balance '' showing the magnitude of the contributing sources. Fan noise tests results and control of engine noise are described.
