Samenvatting
The report presents the results of a study to determine the extent to which vehicle defects caused by lack of maintenance had contributed to crashes. All accidents were analyzed in an attempt to relate various accident factors to vehicle age and make. The study included a literature survey, the development of a plan of work, and an investigation of accidents in which vehicle defects were believed to be a contributing factor.
