Samenvatting
Present and proposed methods of reducing injuries of car occupants in the case of frontal impacts, lateral impacts and rear end collisions are reviewed. Areas specially studied are the steering assembly, instrument panels, windshield from area, front seat backs, door and quarter panels, side glass interior side framework and whiplash protection devices.
