Samenvatting
The basis for the vehicle operating cost estimated used in the National Roads Board Report on economic appraisals roading projects, TR 9 is described. A computer model was developed which used these relationships to predict vehicle operating costs. This model was used to prepare the tables of operating costs given in TR 9 and has also been used to an- alyse individual segments of roads. Examples of the model predictions are given.
