Samenvatting
In the framework of the governmental note "Safety informa- tion and control in public transport 1984" a number of measures were introduced. The most important of them was the appointment of 1350 ticket- inspectors as yet for the time of 3 years. The public transport companies in Rotter- dam, the Hague and Amsterdam, and the regional bus company NZH, took part in the project. The purpose of the measures was to decrease the number of persons using public trans- port with- out a ticket, the prevention of vandalism an improvement of the information processing and safety for the passengers.
