Samenvatting
This covernote concerns the activities of SWOV Institute for Road Safety Research in the context of part B2 'Safety requirements for bicycles' (See IRRD 847986) of the project 'Safe bicycle and injury prevention' belonging to the Masterplan Bicycle. The conclusions of the parts A 'A literature study into the safety of the bicycle in road traffic' (See C 563) and B2 are presented in line. It is viewed which questions will have to be answered by policy, before a further work can take place. Such further work is briefly described here, taking into account that the choice will eventually be made for the establishment of a Dutch standard in the field of requirements for bicycle safety.
