Samenvatting
This report is an abstract of an extensive study of accidents involving vehicular traffic in the same street or road going in opposite directions, where the accident occurs by a left turn in front of oncoming traffic. The purpose is to propose measures to reduce the number of these accidents. The two principal methods employed in the study are described. Recommendations are given for road construction, teaching and campaigns, and for further research.
