Samenvatting
With a small investment of 5.000 guilders for material cost the local authority of Ter Aar and the Vereniging Bescherming Voetgangers have shown that experiments for the improvement of traffic safety does not need to cost much. With the aid of safety drums the layout of a road near a pedestrian crossing was modified. The obstacles were removed afterwards, however, because the cycle traffic got now more danger than before.
