Samenvatting
This paper describes the experiences and recommendations about traffic and lighting of the responsible official for lighting of national trunk roads and motorways in Belgium. The question of which roads should be lit and which ones should not, is discussed. The process of decision-making with considerations upon the selection procedure and factors that influence the decisions are outlined.
