Samenvatting
Traffic and transport policy is concerned mainly with residence-to-work traffic, while recreational traffic is growing faster. The conventional traffic and transport model consist of 4 succeeding submodels. Changes in reachability cannot be taken into account by it. A special recreation model is necessary. The described quantitative SPAMOR-model can test the effects of government policy concerning recreation. Solutions are yet to be found for not readily measurable elements.
