Samenvatting
A study of literature has been done into the traffic operation on motorways. It is attempted to make a qualitative description of the traffic operation on motorways which can serve as a guideline for the development of an instrument for the determination of the quality of the traffic operation on motorways in The Netherlands. Besides these motorways, attention is also paid to measures focused on using the capacity of the road in an optimal way.
