Samenvatting
Measures to be taken for the 1980 traffic management scheme for the city of Amsterdam are presented. On the basis of the development of the traffic and transport policies during the 1970's, the proposed measures are categorized into (1) measures to increase the attractiveness and capacity of public transport (2) measures to decrease the use of the private car, in particular for commuter transport, and (3) measures to improve the climate for slow traffic.
