Samenvatting
A before and after study is made to evaluate the usefulness and efficiency of road thresholds to decrease the speed of vehicles. The results show that the road thresholds did decrease the average speed and did eliminate extreme high speeds. Furthermore a slight tendency for decreasing the traffic intensity is shown. Pedestrians do not use the thresholds to cross the street.
