Samenvatting
The Dutch Supreme Court has spoken: the construction and maintenance of speed humps is a matter of the public authorities as a result of their care for road safety. In performing this task the local government cannot be prosecuted. The author gives some indications as how to adapt the law in order to enable interested parties to oppose to physical measures being proposed by the authorities for guiding and controlling traffic.
