Samenvatting
The aim of the study was to make an estimation of the cost of some alternative programs dedicated to the sound hindrance prevention, cost by road traffic. The noise production of this traffic is estimated by a model, in which speed, traffic intensity and the distance from the houses to the road play the most important roles. The costs needed for the sanitation nearer than 200 m of houses along highways and in which the noise is more than 60 dB will be approximately 1 milliard guilders.
