Verkeersleefbaarheid in steden en dorpen : inventarisatie van stedenbouwkundige middelen die het mogelijk maken dat het verkeer geen negatieve maar zo mogelijk positieve bijdrage levert aan de leefbaarheid van steden en dorpen.

A new idea-traffic liveability- is introduced. The working group has introduced this idea to give principal solutions for the problems in giving recommendations regarding traffic safety in residential areas. It is of main importance that local authorities are to get it across in their built-up areas to show where staying traffic has priority and where the through traffic has priority. Some examples of Dutch cities in which the traffic liveability is realised, are presented.
