Samenvatting
Progress repart by the Working Group "Criteria for putting up traffic lights outside built-up areas" of the Study Centre for Traffic Engineering SVT. Pros and cons of traffic control as such and the results of a literature study. Three methods are discussed and compared, viz. the ones according to Harders and Slop, and the American-method. Results are given of a study into accidents on 90 junctions with traffic lights in the province of Gelderland.
