In this publication the aim is to provide a synopsis of current and future problems concerning access to locations with public attractions, and the measures which might be adopted to help improve access. The issues such as the relative importance of impulsive or habitual behaviour patterns in determining choice of transport mode and journey patterns for leisure travel are set out.
