Samenvatting
In the Netherlands a few years ago the Traffic Accident Registration was founded, which translates all accidents with casualties or damages of over a thousand guilders, into statistics. These statistics refer to the exact point on the road where the accident happened and to the type of accident, the so called manoeuvre-coding. It is now possible to code positions along some 5.000 kms of state main roads and to inform the authorities involved with exact details on black spots, frequent types of accidents, etc.
