Samenvatting
For traffic congestions-especially in the central business districts-measures of traffic engineering and organization do not give a complete solution or do they give a solution-in-the-long-run. Now in many countries a fundamental tackling of the problem from the background of traffic is aimed at. In the Netherlands the period of voluntariness as to the tackling of traffic problems draws to an end now, since the government is promoting the tackling of traffic problems as a problem of spatial planning.
