Samenvatting
A predicting model for thraffic safety characteristics is developed for specific road sections within built-up areas. Road data, accident data and traffic sociological and traffic economic data are used as input. More fundamental knowledge of the traffic safety phenomenon can be obtained by making more extensive and detailed analysis by the POISSON-model or the LOGIT-model.
