Samenvatting
The discrimination between environmental areas and so called traffic areas is a theoretical one and can be dangerous. The starting point must be that all the area outside the environment is environmental. In designing new residential areas attention must be given to: flexibility, low costs, social control, process planning and stimulation of residents initiatives.
