Traffic restraint aims to improve the safety in residential areas by constructional and creative modifications, also in the field of traffic engineering. The whole area must be improved not only a single part. In this report the final recommendations are presented of a working group, which has studied the problems of how to get safer, quieter and more beautiful roads in residential areas. See also B 14401.
