Samenvatting
Present long term population prognoses for the Federal Republic of Germany predict both a clear population decline and a growing increase in the number of old people. Scenarios based on such a development have been created which demonstrate the possible consequences for traffic infrastructure and which also take into consideration the further effects of passenger vehicle availability and age mobility.
