Samenvatting
Discussion of traffic ecology, as part of the general ecology science, to examine the relations between traffic and environment. The interdisciplinary nature of the relations with other sciences in the problems to be investigated is stressed. Economic aspects of a policy of environment protection determined by the cost method and the partial cost method are examined, and some examples are given of estimation of damages and social costs from noise and air pollution by traffic.
