Samenvatting
In the evaluation of traffic control by traffic signals, the average journey time lost is important. It is caused by slowing down, waiting and accelerating of a vehicle before a bottleneck. Existing methods to measure these journey times lost, are difficult to use and not cheap. Two methods are developed to overcome these troubles. The working of these two methods is discussed. After simulation by the Flexsyt program they are tested on their reliability.
