Samenvatting
A study is made to the energy consumption by car traffic in Tilburg. For the year 1985 three variants are calculated with the computer program TRENCOAP on the results of the traffic and transport model in Tilburg. The method gives a good insight in the relationship between the number of trips, trip length, trip speed and the energy consumption. It is useful to compare alternative traffic management schemes mutually on their energy consumption.
