Conclusions of the one-day course are: 1) the Not-Arzt-Wagen (N.A.W.) as an extended arm of the hospital is very useful and accepted in Germany. 2) Such a system for first aid is only possible when the government helps with financing, and 3) To the system outside built-up areas qualified doctors must cooperate.
