An attempt is made to evaluate the time gain obtained by the use of private cars instead of public transport. The study is based on statistics for the year of 1970, with reference to passenger transport, goods transports, and vehicles used in agriculture. According to the author the figures show clearly the great advantage obtained from the use of private motor.
