Samenvatting
This report deals with the inter- urban travel pattern of inhabitants of small towns and its significance for inter- urban road traffic in The Netherlands. The size and spatial orientation of these personal travel flows are examined. Personal travel frequency by trip type, mode and purpose are analyzed.Special attention is given to inter- urban commuting.
