Samenvatting
Traffic and transport are considered too little on an economic way, in terms of demand and offer. For the planning and policy of traffic and transport it is very important to know the need or demand for traffic and transport. However it is stated that this is not recognizable, even if it is possible to distinguish a normative, a subjective and an objective aspect. The need or demand is tried to be determined for (1) the use of present possibilities (2) in case of worsening, and (3) in case of improvement of the traffic and transport possibilities.
