Samenvatting
From the various structures belonging to a road-building project in a coal-mining district in Southern Limburg (Netherlands) a description is given of the structural measures and solutions incorporated in the principal viaduct, as divided to cope with the hazards from subsidence of foundations originating from the underground mining activities there. The paper consists of 3 parts: I- The Laura project in general; II- The Laura viaduct (design); III- The Laura viaduct (construction).
