Samenvatting
In the context of an experiment some physical adaptations were made in the Burgemeester Reigerstraat, located in the Utrecht town centre, in 1996. Among other things, this involved a narrowing of the carriageway for car and bicycle traffic. SWOV was commissioned to evaluate video recordings of traffic behaviour of cyclists and moped riders, car drivers and pedestrians in that street, with the purpose of gaining an insight into the occurrence of possibly risky or undesirable traffic situations. This report gives an account of the results of the video observations.
