Bicycle Victoria is Australia's largest and fastest-growing bicycle membership organisation with more than 20,000 members. More than 10,000 cyclists annually enjoy Bicycle Victoria events. Its mission is More People Cycling More Often. Bicycle Victoria pursues its mission through its events, its membership and its campaigns. This paper explains Bicycle Victoria's campaigns including the Four Networks Challenge, Bicycle Victoria's methods and some of the successful campaigns in which it has been involved. The paper explains that Bicycle Victoria focuses strongly on ensuring that responsible government agencies deliver the bicycle networks for which they are responsible. Bicycle Victoria's philosophy is that the best way to serve cyclists is to provide safe, well-connected, attractive, continuous bicycle networks.
