This booklet contains: the DWI Detection Guide; a summary of the research that led to the guide; explanations of the 24 driving cues; and a description of post-stop cues that are predictive of DWI. The research suggests that these training materials will be helpful to officers in: detecting impaired motorists, articulating observed behaviours on arrest reports, and supporting officers' expert testimony.
