Visual information is considered to be an important input variable for traffic participants, especially for drivers. It is to be expected that there is a relationship between visual performance and traffic ability. One might expect a relationship between visual performance and accident involvement. Research did show, however, that there is hardly any relationship between visual performance and accident involvement.
