Samenvatting
Published data based on searching for simple targets such as alphanumeric data, colours, familiar shapes, and the like, were analyzed quantitatively. Relationships were investigated for search time and scanning rate with the number of non-target stimuli in an array, the number of possible targets, and the total amount of displayed information.
