The authors of this paper review current practices in visual tests for driver licensing, thereby discussing recent as well as needed research in this area, after which their conclusions and recommendations are presented. Comments on the author's work is given by Oscar W, Richards in which he calls attention to the need for standardized tests. On the question of retesting, the discussant suggests 30,50, and 70 years of age when changes occur in the visual system of human beings. (See also PB 578).
