Samenvatting
The "Service de l'Exploitation routière et de la Sécurité " (SERES) is presented. It is based on highway operations and safety service. Traffic master plans in urban areas are discussed in terms of nature and purpose, conditions for success, progress statement on the traffic master plan program. Investment plans contain current methodological efforts and a present situation in the medium-sized built up areas. Conclusions are discussed.
