The research study is targeted on measuring the number and severity of occupational accidents. Based on this, economic losses of resources are derived. A calculation of the single accident specific costs adds to the cost computation. This calculation is of basic importance for the operational conduction of cost-benefit-analysis. Furthermore, a method is developed and proofed to extrapole and predict the number of costs of occupational accidents. The result is transferred into an information concept, which lays dwon the foundation for a user oriented computer program. Therefore, the study is methodological as also result driven.
