Samenvatting
Before and after the Eastern line of Amsterdam's underground railway was opened, two types of survey were held: travellers on public transport lines on this route were interviewed, and inhabitants of Amsterdam South-East were interviewed at home. The first could not be used as a basis to determine the generating effect of the metro line. The latter could be used to determine the attraction of the metro line.
