To evaluate the reconstruction of some collector streets in the Dutch municipality Huizen, a before and after study was performed. Investigated aspects of the reconstruction are: a)The profile of the speed of the motorized traffic, along the streets; b)The changes in the speed on some sections; c)The behaviour of all the road-users. Observations were made by use of video and radar-equipment.
