Samenvatting
The need for a registration of traffic accidents with more differentiated accident data is stressed, in order to further scientific research into accident prevention. The interests of insurance companies and research organizations run parallel with respect to the availability of data from uniform accident registration forms. The difficulties encountered and solutions suggested by SWOV are discussed.
