Samenvatting
The Road and Hydraulic Engineering Division of Rijkswaterstaat has carried out a research programme on crushed stone concrete and masonry waste. Part of the programme deals with the frost heave and frost durability of these materials. In this paper attention will be paid to the principles of frost heave. The frost heave test used and the results which were thus obtained are also discussed.
