By the increasing scale of freight transport on rural highways bottlenecks have arisen in the traffic on these roads. To prevent such bottlenecks knowledge is wanted of this freight transport, and a study is done to it. The main reason of the increasing scale is the desire of low transport costs. The infrastructure of the roads did not keep step with the development in freight transport. Adaptation of this infrastructure is needed, but will cost a lot of money.
