The anticipated climatic change is likely to have important consequences for the viability of road infrastructure in certain regions of the world (thawing of permafrost, a rise in sea level, storms, higher frequency of extreme events etc). Already, certain effects can be observed. This session is devoted to a presentation of these phenomena, methods to evaluate them and strategies that are being studied to adapt the road infrastructure to take account of the impact of these changes. For the covering abstract seeITRD E139491.
