Samenvatting
The aim of this study is to express in monetary terms the negative external effects of car traffic. To an extent this can be accomplished directly, using current market prices. However, a major proportion of the effects does not find particularly true of environmental impact, as well as road accidents. In the present report, the current external costs of collective road traffic in the Netherlands have been calculated to total 4 to 6 billion guilders per year.
